The Retreat has a kitchen/breakfast nook, living room, bath, two private bedrooms, screened porch, open deck and no phones. Our favorite place to have meals and morning coffee is the screened porch overlooking the river.

Whether you are in the Tallahassee area for business or pleasure, if you want a quiet peaceful place to simply lay back and unwind with the crickets after a hectic day of meetings, a hot day at the area beaches or an exhausting day at Doak Campbell Stadium, this is the place for you. In fact, as you sit on the porch and watch the sun rise over the river, you may decide to skip the meetings or beach trip and just “hang out” at the Retreat.

If loud parties are what you want, this is not the place for you. The great value of this Retreat is its natural environment, and we must respect the privacy of the wildlife and our neighbors.
